About Us
Twin Rivers Environmental was founded in 2025 with the intention of integrating lifelong learning from personal interests into delivering practical, science-based environmental solutions rooted in conservation and Indigenous knowledge. Twin Rivers partners with communities, governments, and organizations to protect ecosystems, steward natural resources, and honour the wisdom of Indigenous Peoples in British Columbia.As a member of the American Cichlid Association with over 30 years of experience, Twin Rivers actively participates in international conservation efforts through the C.A.R.E.S Preservation Program, an initiative that brings together researchers and aquarists across the world to preserve fish species at risk.- Cyphotilapia frontosa "Burundi" (photo)
Services
Twin Rivers Environmental provides comprehensive environmental management, permit and compliance services in British Columbia. Services include:
Review and develop sampling and analysis plans for soils, surface water, biological tissues and ambient air quality
Air emissions and effluent authorization and amendment support under provisions of the Environmental Management Act in British Columbia
Country foods sampling and analysis for evaluating the uptake and deposition of chemicals into and onto food sources used by First Nations
Pre-construction (baseline) and construction environmental monitoring
